MENTORSHIP
Since the beginning of my career, I have been lucky to receive tremendous help from other photographers, mentors and workshop leaders. I strongly believe that they have been instrumental in helping me improve my vision and build a business in this crazy industry. Today, I would like to offer the same to other photographers who might be on a similar path.
FREE PORTFOLIO REVIEW
At the core of my mentorship program are 30 minutes long portfolio review sessions, followed by 30 minutes of discussion about your career, the industry, and whatever other questions you may have.
PRICE
The sessions are completely free and without any commitment on your part. I will never ask you for money or try to upsell you Lightroom presets, workshops or anything. You can pay me back by producing good work and being an outstanding member of the larger photography community.
ELIGIBILITY
This is open to anyone serious about a career in photography and with an existing body of work. Priority will be given to photographers identifying as women, LGBTQ or BIPOC. All genres of photography are welcome, it doesn't have to be adventure work.
FORMAT
The total call will be one hour long, via Zoom, WhatsApp or another videoconference software. It can be in French or English. I am usually either in Edmonton (GMT-7) or Paris (GMT+1) timezones.
CANCELLATION
Though I will of course do everything I can to avoid this situation, I reserve the right to unilaterally cancel or reschedule any session.
HOW TO APPLY
If you are interested, send me a quick email with a quick summary of who you are, the kind of work you do and what you feel you could use some help with. Please make sure to include a link to your work. Prior to our session, I will also ask you to send me 8 to 20 images to review.
LONG TERM MENTORSHIP
If after the portfolio review, you feel that you could benefit from a longer term relationship, please let me know. We will work together to determine what kind of format and frequency makes the most sense to help you achieve your creative vision and your business goals.
Please note that I will charge for my time, on a per hour basis. Since these are tough times for a lot of us, I will definitely take into consideration any special circumstances, so just talk to me.
